We played through seven dungeons, learned eight magic spells, two sword skills, and collected a bevy of useful items which allowed Link to claim the Triforce and awaken the ancient Princess Zelda. This week on Legendary Adventures podcast we’re going to put a bow on the experience and discuss the world design and legacy of the Zelda II.

“The River Devil eats those who are a weak” the woman of Nabooru warns. The creature sits south of the town, blocking Link’s path to south-eastern Hyrule. It looks like a spider, or perhaps and octopus. Getting past the River Devil is the first puzzle to tackle this week on Legendary Adventures, and as head to the Hidden Palace.

In this bonus episode I give my thoughts about the most recent The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom trailer released April 13. I haven't watched or looked at any other reactions, so I may have missed some stuff. But you have my pure thoughts, and you get the opinion of a non-Zelda fan, when I ask my wife what she thinks about the trailer.

Legendary Adventures
Nintendo's Legend of Zelda games are my favorite video games. In this podcast I'm playing through the series in release order to see how it evolved over time. I'm also looking at interviews and other information on the game to learn more about the series. I'm summing up what I learn and other elements I find interesting in each game as I play through one dungeon at a time. I hope you enjoy listening and playing along!
